Bass Producer DRIFTA Draws On South Asian Influences For His Latest EP

Championed by Bobby Friction and BBC Asian Network, prolific Kent based producer Drifta announces a new DrumnBass heavy EP ‘GAL BAN JA’. The self released offering sees him for the first time fully embrace a South Asian rooted sound, making this his most compelling release to date. The 6 track offering continues to showcase Drifta’s skills on the buttons as one of the UK’s hottest Bass leaning producers.

Melody is always at the heart of his productions and with vocal features on each track there’s something for everyone, from the hauntingly beautiful DnB soundscape of ‘Mahi Ve (Sajana)’ and ‘Fantasy’ to the more playful new single ‘Facebook’, all tracks exemplify a knack of blending catchy melodies with dream-like beats and rhythms.
