Off the back of last month’s Digital & Tech event, ERIC Festival returned at the weekend with their biggest event to date, and we swung by to check it out..

Taking place at the iconic Somerset House in conjunction with The Barbican, ERIC returned  with another free creative careers event for young people (16–25), this time focusing on the The Arts, with a heavy focus on Music. ERIC Festival: The Arts played host to 400 budding professionals and entrepreneurs looking to get ahead in their chosen field within The Arts and media. With speakers, demos and interactive workshops from BBC 1 Xtra, Dice, ProCam, Olga & Kay, Sadler’s Wells and The V&A the event provided some much needed resources and inspiration to those lucky enough to attend (and us!)

“Working with the Barbican and Somerset House on the event was amazing – with their help we were able to reach more creative young people than ever before and give them the best ERIC experience to date. The workshops, speakers, performers… everything was on point and showed the Arts industries in a way that the audience could relate to and in a truly creative light, which is exactly the way these industries should be seen.” Samantha Hornsby (ERIC)

We were also treated to a secret gig from one of the UK’s most talked about emcees Cadet, with support from RnB songstress Madison Paris who both closed the show in style.
