Strange Place Concerts announced as sponsors of Best Rock Act at the Unsigned Music Awards 2018 at The Great Escape

Strange Place Concerts, the emerging artist division of internationally renowned promoter and agent Marshall Arts Ltd, are quickly establishing themselves as one of the go to promoters for up and coming talent and count 2016’s Best Female Solo Act, Elle Exxe, amongst their current roster.

Continuing their commitment to breaking new music, Strange Place Concerts are proud to be supporting the Best Rock Act at the Unsigned Music Awards 2018 which is set to open The Great Escape at the 2,500 seated Brighton Centre next May.

To celebrate the partnership, Strange Place Concerts are teaming up with UMA Music (organisers of the UMAs) to showcase some of the best unsigned talent together at Birthdays in London next week..


On 15 November, Strange Place Concerts, in partnership with UMA Music present Malory, Koyo, Morrissey & Marshall and Bang Bang Romeo.

Broken Witt Rebels were crowned the Best Rock Act at the Unsigned Music Awards 2016 who went on to sign with a division of Universal Music Group in 2017 alongside a US Tour and most recently, tour support for Cadillac Three.


The Unsigned Music Awards (the UMAs) have teamed up with Live Nation and Europe’s biggest festival for new music, The Great Escape to host the opening ceremony for the 2018 Festival and will take over the 4,000 capacity Brighton Centre to celebrate the UK’s most hyped unsigned artists. The awards will take place on 16 May 2018 to kick off the 13th edition of The Great Escape. The nominees will be selected by UK’s leading influencers, booking agencies, promoters and festival partners.
